Question: How do I get on the OFSOA Mailing List?
Answer: Our Newsblasts and Newsletter emails are only available to paid and activated members that have signed up for our Mailing List. If you are a paid and activated member, then you sign up under Members/Membership/Sign up for the Mailing List. Login, if you have not already, click on the blue Mailing List Sign-up link. Fill out the form and hit the Sign up! Button.

Question: How do I send out a news blast?
Answer: Members draft an email and submit it to one of the appointed positions (President, Vice President or Communications Chair). Please note that only emails related to your fire service job or OFSOA business are permitted to be sent. Be professional in your wording and use. Proof requests for grammar, spelling and appropriate content. Include reply email address for members to respond to. Remember to thank all who respond to your request.

Question: I forgot my member login or password, how do I login?
Answer: Click on the Login button on the home page. At the bottom of the login popup window is a "Forgot Username/Password?" blue link. Click that link and enter your email address and the system will send you your information. If that doesn't work contact Membership or Website Chair.

Question: I just joined OFSOA, how do I sign-up for the mailing list?
Answer: Once we receive your payment, our Membership chair will activate your membership and notify your Region Representative. Your Region Representative will then reach out to welcome you to OFSOA. At that time, you can then login to the Members area of our website and sign-up for our mailing list using the user name and password you created when you signed up for OFSOA. Can't remember your username and password - see prior help topic.

Question: I'm a member and have a new email, who do I notify?
Answer: First, log in to our website and Sign up for our Mailing List under Membership with your new email address. Once you have done that then return to the page and choose the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the "Sign up for the Mailing List" page to remove your old email address. Then notify your Region Rep and Membership, so they can update your contact information and membership record.

Question: My membership has elapsed, how do I renew my membership?
Answer: If your membership has lapsed more than 3 months, please email membership@ofsoa.com for assistance. If less than 3 months login and try renewing online. If you are unable to login, contact membership@ofsoa.com.
